Cedars Golf Course is a Public, 18 hole golf course located in Lowville, New York.
Cedars Golf Course first opened for play in 1979. The course was designed by Mena Uink.
Cedars Golf Course has small, undulating, well-bunkered greens and narrow fairways. The fairways are rolling and lined with mature trees. Water hazards (ponds and creeks) come into play on most holes. The course offers many different challenges. You will not need a driver off every tee because position in the fairways is the most important part in making par. The fairways have lush grass and rolling hills through out the course. Once on the green you have another challenge in it's self. With the green speed around 9 on the stimp meter and lots of break, you will find it to be a integral component to a fun and enjoyable round.
Par for the course is 71. From the back tees the course plays to 5,647 yards. From the forward tees the course measures 4,857 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 16, a par-5 that plays to 500 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 6, a par-3 that plays to 126 yards from the back tees.
Watch out for # 14, a 348 yard par-4 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole is # 6, a 126 yard par-3.
